Investing in the Future of Orphaned Children
The construction of the orphanage in Islam Abad Village, Laghman Province, is currently underway under the supervision of the Shah Mard Khan Baba Charitable Foundation.
This orphanage is designed to provide care, protection, and education for 100 orphaned and vulnerable boys between the ages of 7 and 18. The objective is to equip these children with the knowledge, skills, and support they need to build a brighter future and become productive members of society.
The orphanage is being constructed in accordance with appropriate standards and will offer the following services and educational programs to its beneficiaries:
- Religious Education: Instruction in the Holy Qur’an and Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh).
- Modern Education: Formal school education alongside computer literacy and information technology training.
- Vocational Skills Training: Practical training in tailoring, carpentry, and computer skills to promote self-reliance and future employment opportunities.
- Accommodation and Nutrition: Safe and suitable residential facilities with access to healthy and nutritious meals.
- Healthcare Services: Basic medical care and health support for the children.
- Psychological Counseling: Professional psychosocial support and counseling to promote emotional well-being and healthy development.
Through these comprehensive services, the orphanage aims to nurture well-educated, skilled, and responsible individuals who can contribute positively to their communities and society at large.
